Job Summary\

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineering manager to lead our district engineering services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation and function of multi-disciplinary district engineering and maintenance services, as well as project works.

The role involves emergency response management and provides leadership across multi-disciplinary engineering and maintenance services and project works.

\About You\
\

To be successful in this role, you will require tertiary qualifications in facility management or extensive experience in facility management. Demonstrated initiative, strong organisational skills, ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritise in a high-volume engineering healthcare environment is essential.

\

You will also require experience in engineering, maintenance and project/asset management, including personnel/resource management, procurement policies and procedures, budget/financial management, and coordinating multi-disciplinary groups and external providers across multiple facilities.

  • Lead the district engineering services team in the daily operation and function of multi-disciplinary district engineering and maintenance services and project works.\

  • Provide leadership across multi-disciplinary engineering and maintenance services and project works.\

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve engineering services and outcomes.\

  • Manage budgets and financial resources effectively.\
    \
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.\
    \
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.\
    \
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering services.\
    \
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers.\
    \
  • Manage and develop the skills and knowledge of the engineering services team.\
    \
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.\
    \
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering projects and services.\
    \
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and proposals for new engineering initiatives.\
    \
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives.\
    \
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices in engineering services.\
    \
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to other teams on engineering matters.\
    \
  • Represent the organisation at meetings and conferences related to engineering services.\
    \
  • Perform other duties as required by the Director Engineering Services.\
