Lead Engineering Manager

This is a pivotal leadership role within capital works and infrastructure. The district engineering service oversees operations, activities, maintenance, projects, workforce management, compliance, health and safety, asset management, redevelopment interfaces, reporting, and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership across multi-disciplinary engineering and maintenance services and project works.
- Manage emergency responses and oversee daily operations of multi-disciplinary district engineering and maintenance services and project works.
- Oversee facility and asset management, utilities, reporting, compliance, contract and resource management, minor works projects, and interface with redevelopments and projects.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in facility management or extensive experience in facility management.
- Demonstrate initiative, organisational skills, ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritise in a high-volume engineering environment.
- Experienced in engineering, maintenance, and project/asset management, including personnel/resource management, procurement policies, budget/financial management, and coordinating groups and external providers across multiple facilities.
- Develop strong leadership and project management skills.
- Contribute to the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective infrastructure services.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve organisational goals.
