Job Title

District Group Engineering Manager – Northern Cluster role involves providing leadership across multi-disciplinary engineering and maintenance services and project works.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation and function of district engineering and maintenance services and project works within SWSLHD Capital Works and Infrastructure. This includes facility and asset management, utilities, reporting, compliance, management of contracts and resources, minor works projects, and interface with redevelopments and projects.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Facility Management or extensive experience in Facility Management.
  • Demonstrated initiative, strong organisational skills, ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritise in a high-volume engineering health care environment. Knowledge of the BCA, Australian Standards and codes of practice.
  • Experience in engineering, maintenance and project/asset management, including personnel/resource management, procurement policies and procedures, budget/financial management, and coordinating multi-disciplinary groups and external providers across multiple facilities.
  • Proficiency with computer-based systems (e.g., BEIMS, AFM Online, Oracle, Health Roster, HPRM, MS Office).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams; ability to articulate schedules, risks and opportunities clearly to decision makers.
  • Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). If from another state, obtain NSW C-class license within three months of appointment.
