About the Role

The Service Person and Mechanical Technician plays a vital part in ensuring the upkeep of conveyor systems in our operations. Key responsibilities include completing allocated maintenance tasks as per shutdown scheduling plans, following documented procedures, operating mobile equipment such as forklifts and telehandlers, and performing tasks like scraper rebuilds, roller changeouts, and remote-controlled conveyor inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete allocated maintenance tasks on time and to quality standards.
  • Follow documented procedures and instructions for maintenance and repairs.
  • Operate mobile equipment including forklifts and telehandlers safely and efficiently.
  • Perform tasks such as scraper rebuilds, roller changeouts, hard and soft skirt changeouts, and remote-controlled conveyor inspections.
  • Maintain housekeeping and perform regular inspections to ensure consistency.
  • Participate in operational meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Assist in upskilling other personnel when needed.
  • Take personal responsibility for contributing to team success.
  • Work with computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and FIORI.
