Mine Site Conveyor System Technician

A leading provider of pit-to-ship mining services is seeking Belt Technicians with experience in conveyor systems to join its Field Services Maintenance Team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on conveyor belt systems, including belts, rollers, frames, skirts, and pulleys.
- Perform hot and cold splicing of fabric belts using vulcanizing presses and specialized belt-handling equipment.
- Carry out spot vulcanizing repairs and mechanical splicing tasks.
- Support shutdowns, emergent maintenance, and breakdown repairs operations.
- Assist with planned preventative maintenance and fixed plant maintenance projects.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols.
- Current Australian Driver's License is a must-have.
- Experience with Belt Splicing/Polymer Processing Certificate or equivalent relevant experience is necessary.
- Confined Space with Gas Testing (desired) qualification.
- Working at Heights (desired) certification.
- White Card possession is required.
