**Job Title:** Conveyance Maintenance Specialist

**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Conveyance Maintenance Specialist to join our maintenance team. As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for completing allocated maintenance tasks according to shutdown scheduling plans.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to recognize patterns in problems and apply robust problem-solving techniques.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Complete allocated maintenance tasks as per shutdown scheduling plans.
  • Follow documented maintenance procedures and instructions.
  • Operate mobile equipment including forklift/telehandler.
  • Perform scraper rebuilds, roller changeouts, hard & soft skirt changeouts, remote controlled conveyor inspections and shutdown preparation.
  • Undertake housekeeping and inspections.
  • Participate in safe start and other operational meetings as required.
  • Undertake training as required to gain new skills.
  • Assist in upskilling other personnel when required.
  • Take personal responsibility for helping the team achieve expected results by doing what is required and taking timely actions within the scope of competence.
  • Work with computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite, SAP and FIORI.
  • Maintain a high level of consistency in all parts of the role.
  • Work in a team dynamic.
  • Meet KPIs set by the leadership team.
  • Potential to develop as leader within BHP with growth opportunities.
**About You**
  • You have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You can recognize patterns in problems and apply robust problem-solving techniques.
  • You demonstrate technical aptitude and/or logical reasoning driving resulting actions or decisions.
  • You have a good understanding of quality control and the implications regarding the operation of an automated process.
  • You can identify, report and rectify workplace hazards.
  • You are task focused with strong attention to detail.
  • You are proficient or fast learner in SAP and Microsoft suite.
  • You have processing or conveyor maintenance experience highly desirable.
  • You have previous experience leading or coordinating teams will be an advantage.
  • You demonstrated commitment to safety and ensuring all work practices are reflective of our Charter Values.
  • Diverse candidates highly encouraged to apply.
  • Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor appointment is desirable but not necessary.
