Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability and performance of our assets.

Your duties will include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, testing and tagging, fault finding control systems, and conducting planned and unplanned maintenance on assets.

About the Role

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

  • Identify and resolve technical issues with conveyor systems.

  • Collaborate with electrical maintenance workshop supervisors to prioritize and manage workload.

  • Develop and implement root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.

  • Provide input into continuous improvement opportunities and participate in the development of new work procedures.

About You

  • A relevant electrical trade qualification (mandatory).

  • HRWL Forklift, Dogging and Rigging certifications.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with conveyor maintenance and knowledge of tasks related to maintaining fixed plant equipment (desirable).

  • The ability to apply expertise to analyze and solve complex problems.
