We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team in East Pilbara, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on various equipment and instrumentation, including SAG Mills, Ball Mills, Conveyors, HV and LV Substations, Flotation Cells & Agitators, Pumps, and Thickeners.
About the RoleThis is a mid-senior level position that requires a Grade electrical Trade Qualification, WA Electrical Licence, Cert 4 Instrumentation (desired), HV Switching Ticket (desired), SAP work management skills (desired), and sound knowledge of electrical statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a mining or industrial setting. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, as well as the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
- Performing routine checks and inspections
- Carrying out repairs and replacements as required
- Liaising with other teams to ensure smooth operation
- Grade electrical Trade Qualification
- WA Electrical Licence
- Cert 4 Instrumentation (desired)
- HV Switching Ticket (desired)
- SAP work management skills (desired)
- Sound knowledge of electrical statutory requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a self-motivated and organized individual with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
