The role of a Conveyor Technician involves installing, splicing, aligning and maintaining conveyor belt systems. This position requires the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on-site and in the workshop.
Key Responsibilities- Install, splice and maintain conveyor belts to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues with conveyor systems
Additional responsibilities include providing excellent customer service and working effectively as part of a team.
RequirementsEssential Skills and Qualifications- Previous experience in a related field such as manufacturing or engineering
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and practices
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Desirable skills include manual dexterity, physical stamina and good communication skills.
