Pastoral Care Practitioner Job Opportunity

This is a unique chance to work with a supportive and multidisciplinary team, dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to residents. As a Pastoral Care Practitioner, you will play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the spiritual and pastoral needs of our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality pastoral care services to residents and their families
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Provide spiritual assessments and contribute to care planning
  • Develop and lead meaningful rituals and celebrations that promote resident well-being

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s including clinical pastoral education (CPE), counselling or equivalent
  • Recent experience working in a similar role in aged care, health care or community settings
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills in working with people experiencing vulnerability
