Spiritual Support Specialist

Discover a career where care is the core focus. We are seeking an experienced Spiritual Support Professional to provide personal spiritual support and services to residents in line with their preferences and Catholic values.
About the Role:- Provide spiritual support and services to residents in accordance with their individual needs and preferences.
- Support mission formation activities for employees within the residential aged care home.
- Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures.
- Cert III or Cert IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of faith, particularly as it relates to the dignity of life and aged care.
- Commitment to supporting the spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members.
- Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
