The role of Construction Manager is to lead a team of professionals and oversee the delivery of quality services to clients. This involves liaising with stakeholders, utilising industry networks, and providing technical advice and support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with customers, insurance company representatives, and internal staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Utilising your industry network and building new relationships and opportunities for the VIC and Tasmanian markets
  • Overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial projects from $30k to $200k+
  • Providing technical advice and support to staff

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong people leadership skills with proven experience managing and growing teams
  • Strong insurance industry or maintenance experience and a network you can lean on
  • Comfortable and prefers working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Detailed understanding of project management principles and ability to communicate and implement these
  • Positive, proactive attitude and the ability to rally your team
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to coordinate several priorities at once with a calm and professional approach
  • Strong systems experience and reporting skills
  • Ability to think laterally and problem-solve issues
