Job Description:

As a senior professional in external reporting, you will oversee and control the delivery of Group results to stakeholders. Your primary responsibility is to ensure accuracy and completeness of external reports to Shareholders, investors, and the Board.

  • Prepare and develop External Financial Reports as a document owner, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Enhance controls and effectiveness of key spreadsheets and analytical templates to drive business insights.
  • Maintain documentation over external reporting to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Provide actionable insights into Group performance to Investor Relations and senior management teams.
  • Complete Quarterly reporting of Group results for the Trading Update, driving informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities include analyzing financial data to provide valuable business intelligence. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to build strong relationships and communicate complex concepts effectively.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial and management accounting standards, policies, and processes.
  • Ability to apply sound logic to break down complex problems and recommend effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, concise language.
  • Operational knowledge of key financial systems (HFM, SAP), with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Tertiary qualification along with CA or CPA certification, demonstrating a strong foundation in finance and accounting.
