Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Facilitator to join our team and deliver a program that equips Australian school-aged students with an understanding of living life with a disability and giving them a strong appreciation of social inclusion from an early age.

The program, called Just Like You, is a genuine educational initiative delivered by a team of people who really want to make a difference. As our Facilitator, you will focus on the delivery of this program, working in partnership with a children's charity that provides funding and support.

You will be responsible for delivering world-class disability inclusion workshops to school-aged students (Years 1-7) in Sydney and surrounding areas, both in person and virtually. Additionally, you will build and maintain successful relationships with schools to ensure continued partnerships while collecting valuable teacher feedback.

To achieve these goals, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to engage, inspire, and motivate school-aged audiences through face-to-face and digital mediums.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Living with a disability, including sharing your personal stories to underpin the important message of social inclusion.
  • Presentation Experience: Previous experience in presenting, teaching, educating, or performing, ideally to school-age groups.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate school-aged audiences through face-to-face and digital mediums.
