
Disability Inclusion Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Australian school-aged students. As our Disability Inclusion Specialist, you will focus on delivering a program that equips students with an understanding of living life with a disability and promoting social inclusion from an early age.
The program, called Just Like You, is designed in partnership with a reputable children's charity. The program is offered at no cost to students in years 1 to 7, and it's delivered by a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality disability inclusion workshops to school-aged students (Years 1-7) in Sydney and surrounding areas, in person and virtually.
- Build and maintain successful relationships with schools to ensure continued partnerships while collecting valuable teacher feedback.
- Achieve key performance indicators related to workshop quality and evaluation feedback.
- Act as an outstanding ambassador for the program.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of living with a disability, including sharing personal experiences and drawing on stories to underpin the important message of social inclusion.
- Previous experience in presenting, teaching, educating, or performing; ideally to school-age groups.
- Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate school-aged audiences through face-to-face and digital mediums.
- Will be able to learn and retain content for presentations.
- A valid and current Working with Children Check.
