Senior Service Designer

About the role:

  • The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Senior Service Designer with extensive experience in Human Centred Design, looking to drive transformative change in the healthcare industry. The successful individual will join our team as a Healthcare Transformation Specialist, working closely with cross-functional teams and Agile squads to deliver seamless customer experiences across Bupa Australia.
  • As a key member of our team, you will represent Service Design in various business forums, advocating for a customer-led culture and championing the design process throughout the organisation.
  • Your primary focus will be on designing end-to-end experiences for customers, delivering key insights, identifying strategic opportunities, and making recommendations that align with our broader customer strategy.
  • You will lead the design process, collaborating with stakeholders to solve complex customer problems and deliver connected, seamless customer experiences through the orchestration of multiple product and service touchpoints.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leverage your expertise in Human Centred Design to drive transformational change in the healthcare industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Agile squads to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Represent Service Design in various business forums, advocating for a customer-led culture.
  • Design end-to-end experiences for customers, delivering key insights and making recommendations that align with our broader customer strategy.
  • Lead the design process, collaborating with stakeholders to solve complex customer problems.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Centred Design, with a proven track record of driving transformative change in the healthcare industry.
  • Extensive experience working in an Agile environment, with a strong understanding of design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to non-designers.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience working across strategy and operations.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as human factors or human centred design.
