About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Experience Specialist to join our team at Damco Spain SL. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring seamless execution of shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
  2. Supply Chain Expertise: Understand external factors impacting customers' supply chains and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  3. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
  4. Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and consolidate shipments to optimize logistics operations.
  5. Communication and Problem-Solving: Proactively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and provide solutions.
Requirements
  1. Industry Knowledge: Possess knowledge of the shipping, supply chain, or logistics industry.
  2. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  3. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  4. Technical Skills: Have good process understanding and digital proficiency, with experience in CargoWise 1 preferred.
  5. Microsoft Office Skills: Possess strong Microsoft Office skills.
  6. Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and a strong cost-conscious mindset.
