
Senior Harmful Sexual Behaviour Specialist

The Specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviours (HSB) Program provides a specialist, trauma-safe and culturally safe response to children and young people who are displaying harmful sexual behaviours. The service offers healing, support, counselling, and a therapeutic response; working holistically with all those around the child or young person.
This role requires a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, as well as experience in working with children and young people who have been impacted by trauma.
Responsibilities- Supervise Counsellor and Aboriginal Outreach Support Worker positions for the HSB Program;
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members;
- Develop and implement strategies to address complex issues related to HSB;
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- A Masters level qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Aboriginal Studies or a related field with clinical experience;
- Demonstrated capacity in working collaboratively within a team, and with internal and external stakeholders;
- A valid and current driver's licence;
- A satisfactory criminal history check;
- A valid employee working with children check;
- A valid NDIS workers screening check.
