About Our Specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviours Program

The programme provides a specialist, trauma-safe and culturally safe response to children and young people who are displaying harmful sexual behaviours.

Our service offers opportunities for healing, support, counselling, and a therapeutic response; working holistically with all those around the child or young person.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise Counsellors and Aboriginal Outreach Support Workers in our Specialist HSB Programme
  • Collaborate within a team and with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong working relationships

Key Requirements:

  • Masters level qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Aboriginal Studies or related field with clinical experience
  • Knowledge of and experience in working with children and young people who have been impacted by trauma and those who display harmful sexual behaviours
  • Awareness of current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and their families
