We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team based in Sydney.
- This is a key role within our Geotechnical team, working on infrastructure and development projects across Australia.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering with relevant electives.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in consulting and/or as a senior engineer.
- Previous experience working on TfNSW and local council projects, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in engineering software packages such as Circly, HIPAVE, Rubicon, Elmod, AutoCAD.
About the Role
This is a pivotal role within our team, requiring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing technical advice and support on pavement designs.
- Developing design and maintenance management practices for pavements and road surfaces.
- Conducting site surveys and investigations, undertaking pavement designs, and preparation of specifications and contract documentation.
- Undertaking construction contract management and administration, and site monitoring, surveillance, and quality assurance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in consulting and/or as a senior engineer.
