About the Position

We are seeking a commercially minded Fire Engineering Lead.

This is a full-time leadership role that blends technical excellence with strategic business development and client engagement.

As a senior member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in driving project success, expanding client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client-facing project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Drive business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and nurturing long-term client partnerships.
  • Manage internal design teams and oversee engineering assessments across complex, multi-client projects.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings to enhance market presence.
  • Deliver technically sound and innovative Fire designs, reports, and specifications across sectors.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a design consultancy environment, with a strong track record of client engagement and project leadership.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or equivalent.
  • Accreditation in NSW (Certifier - Fire Safety).
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for building client relationships and growing business pipelines.
  • High level of technical expertise in fire safety design, analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
