Job Description

We are seeking a senior fire engineering professional to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects. This is a full-time leadership role that combines technical expertise with strategic business development and client engagement.

This senior position plays a pivotal role in driving project success, expanding client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across various building projects. The ability to lead from the front—both technically and commercially—will be key to success.

  • Lead client-facing project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Drive business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and nurturing long-term client partnerships.
  • Manage internal design teams and oversee engineering assessments across complex, multi-client projects.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings to enhance market presence.
  • Deliver technically sound and innovative Fire designs, reports, and specifications across sectors including health, defence, high-rise, industrial, and education.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a design consultancy environment, with a strong track record of client engagement and project leadership.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or equivalent.
  • Accreditation in NSW (Certifier - Fire Safety) formerly C10 Category.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for building client relationships and growing business pipelines.
  • High level of technical expertise in fire safety design, analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
