About the Role

Bloomhr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our team in driving strategic initiatives and maintaining our reputation as an independent, expert voice in the housing sector.

As CEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our strategic direction, working closely with our Board to shape policy positions and guide our growth.

You will also act as the primary liaison with government, industry, and other stakeholders, advocating for policies that enhance social and affordable housing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement our strategic direction, working closely with the Board to shape policy positions and guide our growth.
  • Advocacy & Representation: Act as the primary liaison with government, industry, and other stakeholders, advocating for policies that enhance social and affordable housing services.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure we operate in accordance with our constitution, funding agreements, and legal requirements, providing regular reports to the Board.
  • Sector Development: Cultivate strong relationships with housing and homelessness organisations, government bodies, and other peak bodies to drive systemic change.
  • Financial Stewardship: Oversee all business functions, including financial management and resource allocation, ensuring sustainability and accountability.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction and support to our staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

This is a full-time permanent position, requiring occasional travel and out-of-hours work. You must demonstrate the highest level of ethics and integrity and be committed to improving the housing circumstances for all Territorians.

Applicants must have a driver's license and be willing to undertake a criminal history check and working with children check.
