Cancer navigation is a critical area of focus for the Australian Government's Australian Cancer Nursing and Navigation Program (ACNNP). The Director of Stakeholder Engagement will play a pivotal role in shaping national conversations around cancer care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and refine a National stakeholder engagement strategy to achieve project deliverables and governance objectives.
- Represent the organisation in national forums, media, conferences, and sector events as delegated, ensuring consistent messaging.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, ACNNP partners, cancer sector organisations, and priority population groups.
- Provide expert advice to senior leadership on stakeholder insights, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure alignment with the 10-Year Australian Cancer Plan and contribute to long-term sustainability and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Head of First Nations Strategy and Engagement to uphold cultural safety and First Nations governance principles.
