Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Systems Engineer plays a crucial role at our organization, contributing to the design and construction of a large-scale pumped hydro scheme in the Snowy Mountains. This project will provide on-demand energy and storage for future generations.

  • CMMS Administration: Maintain and update the CMMS database, ensuring data accuracy and managing system configuration.
  • Asset Management: Oversee the CMMS asset database, ensuring it reflects current assets and aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Work Order Management: Manage and track work orders, including scheduling, assigning, and monitoring progress.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed and optimized within the CMMS.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze CMMS data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to users on CMMS functionality and best practices.
  • Integration and Optimization: Integrate the CMMS with other systems and identify opportunities for system improvements.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on maintenance activities, costs, and performance metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CMMS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of CMMS systems, ideally with hands-on experience in implementation or optimization.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data entry, system administration, and report generation.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and deliver training.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot CMMS issues and find solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Relevant Degree or Experience: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
