Job Overview

The role of Maintenance Systems Engineer is pivotal in the design and construction of Snowy 2.0, a large pumped hydro scheme in the Snowy Mountains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure data accuracy and system configuration in the CMMS database.
  • Align the CMMS asset database with organizational objectives.
  • Manage work orders, including scheduling, assigning, and monitoring progress.
  • Evaluate and optimize preventative maintenance schedules within the CMMS.
  • Analyze CMMS data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to users on CMMS functionality and best practices.
  • Integrate the CMMS with other systems (SAP) and identify opportunities for system improvements.
  • Generate reports on maintenance activities, costs, and performance metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including the Maintenance Compliance Team and external service providers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in CMMS systems, with hands-on experience in implementation or optimization.
  • Proficiency in data entry, system administration, and report generation.
  • Able to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and deliver training.
  • Ability to troubleshoot CMMS issues and find solutions.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, computer science), or trade certificate with extensive CMMS exposure.
