Our team seeks a highly skilled and professional Building Inspector to conduct thorough pre-purchase building inspections, compile detailed reports, and communicate findings to clients in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive building inspections to identify potential issues with the property
- Prepare and deliver clear, thorough inspection reports that provide valuable insights to clients
- Communicate findings effectively and professionally, ensuring clients understand the importance of their concerns
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards through ongoing training and education, enhancing skills and knowledge to meet evolving needs
- Possess Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance to protect clients and business interests
- Hold a strong understanding of Australian Standards (AS 4349.1) to ensure high-quality work
- Have access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for efficient site visits
- Be registered as an ABN holder and capable of invoicing as a contractor to streamline financial processes
- Demonstrate proficiency in reporting software to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Experience conducting inspections in the pre-purchase or building sector, showcasing expertise and adaptability
- Proficiency in drone use, though not essential, is highly regarded and may be beneficial in certain situations
