Family Support Worker - Case Practice Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our casework team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable families and children.

About the Role:

  • Supporting Families: Provide supervision and support to families during access visits, ensuring the safety and well-being of all involved.
  • Building Relationships: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with service providers, case managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Court Attendance: Attend Children's Court of Victoria and other relevant courts, providing evidence as required to support the best interests of children.

What You Will Need:

  • Child Protection Principles: Knowledge of child protection principles and practices, including Best Interest Principles.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Relationship Building: Capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, families, and service providers.
