We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Officer Pmo Assurance.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of and influence the future of human services contracting in the DCJ cluster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate governance for programs/projects, monitor and escalate project related issues/risks proactively to ensure resolution.
  • Perform health checks on the portfolio/program/projects regularly and provide status to the leadership team.
  • Knowledge and adherence to project management methodology and governance framework.
  • Conduct due diligence on project submissions for documentation and audit purposes to ensure consistency, alignment and transparency with project status, reporting and governance guidelines.
  • Solid stakeholder engagement experience.
Requirements:
  • Portfolio, Program or Project Management knowledge, experience or certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant area or equivalent experience in similar roles.
  • Sound communication skills, and have strong stakeholder engagement and management experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, vendor engagement and change management to provide advice in the form of briefs, discussion papers and briefing notes.
  • Experience in Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) tool such as Smartsheet.
