As a Disability Support Worker, you will work closely with individuals to facilitate their community engagement, support their transition into adulthood, and build their capacity to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to the unique needs and goals of each participant.">
  • Assist young people transitioning from out-of-home care and adults in building their independence and capacity.">
  • Facilitate community engagement and help participants access and navigate NDIS services.">
  • Foster a supportive and empathetic environment, respecting each participant's dignity and aspirations.">
  • Collaborate with other professionals, families, and carers to ensure comprehensive and effective support.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field (or equivalent experience).">
  • Previous experience in disability support or a related role is highly desirable.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting and empowering individuals.">
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.">
  • A commitment to delivering high standards of care with empathy and respect.">
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (if required for the role).">
