Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with mental health conditions and neurodivergent traits to achieve their full potential.

You will provide personalized support in daily activities, assist with personal care, meal preparation, and medication management, while promoting independence and community engagement through social outings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or group support in daily living tasks.
  • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and medication management as required.
  • Promote independence and community engagement through social outings and activities.
  • Advocate for the rights and well-being of those you support.
  • Build meaningful relationships and create a nurturing environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Experience supporting clients with mental health conditions or disabilities.
  • A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
  • Current WWCC and NDIS Screening.
  • Police Check.
  • First Aid/CPR Certificate.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate.
  • Fluency in English.
