Community Engagement Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-focused professional to lead the coordination of events, alumni engagement, and community partnerships.

This role plays a vital part in enhancing our reputation, strengthening connections with stakeholders, and promoting our vision and values both within our community and beyond.

The successful candidate will deliver and host high-quality events, foster meaningful alumni relationships, and develop initiatives that engage parents, friends, and external networks.

The position requires flexibility to accommodate out-of-hours commitments throughout the year.

  • Plan, organise, deliver, and host college and community events, ensuring they are on time and of the highest standard.
  • Coordinate logistics including scheduling, venues, catering, ticketing, and staffing.
  • Liaise with marketing teams on promotional materials, media coverage, photography, and brand alignment.
  • Build and maintain strong alumni relationships, managing events, reunions, and alumni databases.
  • Support fundraising activities and develop relationships with potential donors and sponsors.
  • Facilitate parent and community engagement activities, including meetings and events.
  • Monitor event outcomes and provide reporting on improvements.
Key Requirements

Suitable applicants will:

  • Hold a diploma or bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field (or have equivalent experience).
  • Be an adept community connector with excellent organisational, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Have 2–4 years' experience in event coordination, community engagement, or a related role.
  • Demonstrate exceptional ability to deliver events to scope, on time, and with excellence.
  • Possess CRM database experience and basic marketing support skills.
  • Represent us with professionalism, warmth, and integrity.
