Our Role:
  • We seek a dynamic Community Engagement Officer to lead event coordination, alumni outreach, and community partnerships.
  • This role plays a vital part in enhancing our reputation, strengthening connections, and promoting our vision and values within our community and beyond.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning, organising, delivering, and hosting college and community events, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinating logistics including scheduling, venues, catering, ticketing, and staffing.
  • Liaising with marketing teams on promotional materials, media coverage, photography, and brand alignment.
  • Building and maintaining strong alumni relationships, managing events, reunions, and alumni databases.
  • Supporting fundraising activities and developing relationships with potential donors and sponsors.
  • Facilitating parent and community engagement activities, including meetings and events.
Requirements:
  • Hold a diploma or bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field (or have equivalent experience).
  • Be an outgoing personality and avid community connector.
  • Have 2-4 years' experience in event coordination, community engagement, or a related role.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organisational, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Show proven ability to deliver events to scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Possess CRM database experience and basic marketing support skills.
  • Represent the organisation with professionalism, warmth, and integrity.
