Senior Care Leader

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Leader to join our team. As a Senior Care Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents.

  • This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive hourly pay rate and a range of benefits including fitness passport gym access, paid parental leave, and long service leave.
About the Role:

The Senior Care Leader will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and support to the clinical and personal care teams. This includes ensuring high-quality care is provided to residents at all times, as per the Aged Care quality Standards and policy procedures.

  • Leadership and coaching skills are essential for this role, as well as a thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.

In addition to your leadership skills, you will also require comprehensive clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues. You must also have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and previous experience working within a residential aged care setting in a similar role.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required for this role, as you will be working closely with the Residential Manager and other members of the team.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly;
  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse;
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards;
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes;
  • Comprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety;
  • Previous experience working within a Residential Aged care setting in a similar role;
  • Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence others;
  • Strong customer centric approach to business;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
