Job Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to lead our residential care team.

In this role, you'll work closely with a Case Manager and Therapeutic Specialist to create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people with significant disabilities.

  • You'll be responsible for managing the home, providing direct care and support, and leading your team in implementing therapeutic care plans.
  • You'll also oversee the daily operations, ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality care, and develop meaningful connections with family and community networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and implement therapeutic care plans
  • Support and mentor staff to deliver high-quality care
  • Collaborate with the Case Manager and Therapeutic Specialist to create a safe and supportive environment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with family, community, and support networks

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Community Services or related field (desired but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience)
  • Leadership experience in services supporting children and young people
  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, complex health needs, or challenging behaviors
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team, embedding therapeutic practices
  • Current First Aid certification and unrestricted driver's license
