Job Title: Director of Sales and Marketing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team at Minor Hotels. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and overseeing marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue department to create and implement comprehensive sales plans and forecasts.
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive brand visibility and market presence.
  • Develop and implement social media campaigns to engage with customers and promote our brand.
  • Assess the overall sales performance and market potential of our properties.
  • Develop and manage operating budgets for sales activities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial constraints.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets, taking corrective actions when necessary to address any deviations and ensure goals are met.
  • Provide direction and support to staff through constructive feedback, coaching, and targeted training programs to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Represent Minor Hotels at trade shows and association meetings, showcasing our brand and networking with industry professionals.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including clients and partners, to foster collaboration and business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior sales management, with a proven track record of success in developing and growing sales strategy.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong financial acumen, with solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Superior attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to travel domestically when required.
  • A polished professional presentation and a strong work ethic, reflecting a high level of dedication and integrity in all professional interactions.
