Vessel Operations Manager

Cargo and ballast handling operations are critical to the success of our transhipment operations in Western Australia. As a Vessel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing these operations safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of maritime operations and management principles. You will be responsible for ensuring that all vessel operations are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

You will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to deck officers, including deck cadets. This will involve mentoring and training to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive records of all vessel operations, including cargo and ballast handling. This will involve analyzing data and making recommendations to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • AMSA Chief Officer COC/COR Unlimited
  • 5 years sea time as a Watchkeeper Deck
  • STCW regulation II/2
  • MSIC Card
  • Australian Citizen or valid working visa
