Senior Vessel Operations Manager

The position of Chief Officer plays a pivotal role in the safe and efficient operation of offshore vessels. As a dynamic leader, you will be responsible for supporting the Master in navigating and operating the vessel.
Main Responsibilities:
- Navigate and operate the vessel with precision and expertise.
- Assume responsibility for winch operations on AHTS and/or PSV Offshore vessels.
- Lead emergency response operations and participate in safety drills to ensure crew preparedness.
- Maintain adherence to our Safety Management System and policies.
- Act as the designated DP Operator and manage all associated duties.
- Accurately maintain navigation logbooks.
- Oversee vessel stability, trim, and fuel management.
- Participate in training and development of the deck crew.
- Foster effective communication between the bridge and engineering teams for improved operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Hold a current Chief Officer DP Unlimited Certificate of Competency.
- Prior experience as Chief Officer on Offshore vessels such as CSV, AHTS or PSV.
- Dynamic Positioning Operators Certificate (DPO).
- Winch operating experience, certified or un-certified, is beneficial.
- STCW Certification requirements for Offshore Marine completed.
- GMDSS General Operators Certificate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities to build positive team environments across the vessel.
- Resilience, adaptability, and flexibility in managing multiple tasks under pressure.
