Vessel Operations Leader

The Vessel Operations Leader will assist the Master in navigating and operating the vessel, ensuring a safe operation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Master in navigating and operating the vessel.
  • Experience in Winch operations working on Offshore vessels.
  • Lead emergency response operations and support the crew in safety drills.
  • Ensure adherence to Safety Management Systems and policies.
  • Act as the designated DP Operator and manage associated duties.
  • Maintain accurate navigation logbooks.
  • Oversee vessel stability, trim, and fuel management.
  • Participate in deck crew training and development.
  • Facilitate communication between bridge and engineering teams for improved operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Hold a current Chief Officer DP Unlimited Certificate of Competency.
  • Current experience as Chief Officer Offshore vessels such as CSV, AHTS or PSV.
  • Dynamic Positioning Operators Certificate (DPO).
  • Demonstrate Winch operating experience and/or certified is beneficial.
  • Completed STCW Certification requirements for Offshore Marine.
  • GMDSS General Operators Certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and ability to build a positive team environment.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and flexible in managing multiple tasks effectively.
