About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our Ballarat Potato Plant team as an Equipment Reliability Engineer. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with all factory departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure seamless production operations.
  • Manage mechanical and electrical teams, including scheduling and training, to maintain high levels of equipment reliability.
  • Analyse data and implement improvements to reduce downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to deliver a robust preventive maintenance program driven through the MDI framework.
  • Engage with contractors on site and manage repair of breakdowns, leading Root Cause Analysis where necessary.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using SAP.

About You:

  • Bachelor of engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related area.
  • 5+ years' experience working in a FMCG company.
  • 2+ years of direct people leadership experience (desirable).
  • High level of computer literacy and ability to analyse data.
  • Lean manufacturing experience in TPM, 6Sigma, MDI.
