About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Fitter and Machinist to join Workforce Extensions as a Maintenance Fitter in our Delacombe manufacturing facility. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of our production activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a qualified tradesperson with strong technical skills in fitting and turning, mechanical, or engineering fields to undertake breakdown resolution, reactive and preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
  • You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, including planning and implementation, to ensure equipment longevity and minimize downtime on production lines.
  • Preventative maintenance, spare parts management, and training in all areas as required are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified tradesperson in fitting and turning, mechanical, or engineering fields.
  • Safety-first approach in all activities.
