This rewarding role allows you to strengthen family connections between children, young people, and their families, and you will benefit from numerous opportunities for upskilling and professional development, supported by a large and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate safe and meaningful family time for children and young people in the Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care)
  • Mentor children and young people in various settings
  • Provide written updates and reports
  • Ensure thorough communication and documentation

Requirements:

  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Written communication skills, including the ability to write reports and complete formal documentation
  • Individual and team work
  • Flexibility: willingness to work non-standard hours as required
  • Required Checks: current NSW Working With Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and full COVID vaccination status
  • Driving License: possession of an Australian Driver's License
  • Qualification in Human Services, Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services is highly desirable
