Disability Support Worker

Our team has a strong focus on personalized service delivery as we work within the NDIS practice standards to attain an improved quality of life for our clients. We have a team of trained healthcare workers offering holistic care, meeting the unique needs of our clients. Our services are intended to support people living with a significant and/or permanent disability. We help them live their lives the way they want - independently and confidently. We ensure that you have the right support to achieve your life goals and overcome all kinds of challenges without any hassle.
Examples of some tasks & responsibilities
Providing person-centered supports for participants in age-appropriate activities and tasks including in home support and community access.
Supporting participants to access activities and outings in the community.
Provide direct personal care assistance for all participants in accordance with their service plan and as directed by their Team leader.
Work in accordance with the medication administration policy, work health and safety procedures and participants rights policies including privacy and confidentiality.
Ensure completion of appropriate documentation. Relevant information on support provided is to be recorded in participants notes as required.
Participate in Performance Development to identify ongoing training and support opportunities
Actively contribute to a team environment through open communication, participation in regular meetings, planning processes and policy review.
**Essential Qualifications & experience**
- Must have minimum 2 YEARS experience in the disability sector
- Current First Aid and CPR
- COVID-19 vaccinations
- Manual Handling certificate
- National Police check - gained within the last 3 months.
- NDIS Worker Screening check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificates
- COVID-19 Infection Control Training
- Unrestricted access to a vehicle
- Full drivers licence

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour
