About The Role:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Supervised Contact Worker. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating safe and meaningful family time for children and young people in the Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care) with their families and significant others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate safe and meaningful family time for children and young people in the Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care) with their families and significant others.
  • Provide written updates and reports, ensuring thorough communication and documentation.
  • Mentor children and young people in various settings.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

About You:

  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with others.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write reports and complete formal documentation in relevant software programs.
  • Ability to think quickly on your feet and make informed decisions in complex situations.
  • Flexibility: willingness to work non-standard hours as required.
  • Required Checks: current NSW Working With Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and full COVID vaccination status.
  • Driving License: possession of an Australian Driver's License.
  • Qualification in Human Services, Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services is highly desirable.
