Casual Disability Support Worker

We are looking for a mature male support worker for a client. You will provide personalised care and support to our client, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and fostering a safe and supportive environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the client with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support the client with mobility and physical exercises as required.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions.
- Provide companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities.
- Help with household chores, including cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Accompany the client to appointments and social activities.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate personnel.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant healthcare background.
- Mature, patient, and empathetic demeanour with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
- First Aid & CPR Certification, Working with Children Check, National Police Check.
**Requirements**:
- Must be a male (Genuine Occupational Requirement due to the nature of the client’s needs).
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation required.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $32.08 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
