Job Title: Senior Therapeutic Case Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Therapeutic Case Manager to join our team.

  • This is a full-time, fixed-term position that offers a competitive salary package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
About The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the clinical team, managing complex therapeutic cases, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual and family needs.

  • They will work collaboratively with young people, families, and care teams to create and monitor safety action plans and achieve therapeutic goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the clinical team in providing high-quality therapeutic services to young people and their families.
  • Manage complex therapeutic cases, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each individual and family.
  • Facilitate program referrals through intake consultations and provide face-to-face services across the northern region.
  • Collaborate systemically with young people, families, and care teams to create and monitor safety action plans and achieve therapeutic goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified Senior Therapeutic Case Manager who has a Bachelor's degree level or higher qualification in a Health or Welfare related field such as Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy, Speech Pathology or related discipline.

  • Experience working collaboratively with the family violence sector, including a working knowledge of MARAM and Safe and Together.
  • A sound understanding of the issues involved in working with families with diverse needs, including CALD or disability (physical, sensory, intellectual or psychiatric).
  • Post Graduate training in Adolescent Mental Health; EMDR; Family Therapy etc. is desirable.
