Job Description

This role requires a professional who can provide therapeutic intervention services to children and young people who have suffered trauma and neglect. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals, manage complex cases, and collaborate with families and care teams to create safety action plans.

  1. Lead the clinical team and support staff in providing therapeutic services.
  2. Manage complex cases, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans that meet the needs of each individual child or young person.
  3. Collaborate with families and care teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child or young person.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a Health or Welfare field, such as Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy, or Speech Pathology. Postgraduate training in areas like Adolescent Mental Health, EMDR, or Family Therapy is also desirable.

  • Proven experience working with diverse families and communities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
