Job Description: As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll runs within a medium to large organization. Your duties will include processing weekly/fortnightly payroll runs, adjustments pertaining to leave accrual, RDOs, termination, attending to payroll queries by internal and external stakeholders, assisting with preparing weekly payroll reports, investigating time management system discrepancies, and preparing worksheets to support superannuation payments, payroll tax remittances, and Work Cover remuneration statements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing payroll operations within a medium to large organization.
  • A good understanding of awards and ATO legislation.
  • 4+ years of solid experience in payroll locally.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong numeracy skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
