The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. This includes ensuring the setup of new starters, processing terminations and pay adjustments, resolving payroll-related queries, and assisting with leave audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and efficient setup of new employee records;
  • Process terminations and pay adjustments in a timely manner;
  • Respond to payroll-related queries and issues from employees and management;
  • Assist with leave audits and paid-in-advance processes;
  • Contribute to process development and improvement initiatives;
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required;
  • Support the Payroll Team in achieving their goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll operations;
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing, including salary payments, tax deductions, and benefits administration;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and management;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Experience working within a high-volume payroll environment an advantage;
  • Knowledge of EBA's and award interpretation an advantage;
  • Previous experience utilizing Chris21 system an advantage.
