Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Underwriters to contribute to the growth of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance risk management and reinsurance principles, with excellent collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Duties include assisting in the growth and maintenance of profitable business within allocated portfolios, undertaking personal underwriting of schemes and small to medium-sized policies, including new business.
  • The successful candidate will deliver excellent customer service to brokers, distribution partners, and internal colleagues, contributing to risk and compliance management practices and developing a workplace learning environment.

About You:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in underwriting or a related field is required.
  • You will be responsible for maximising business opportunities sourced by the Business Development team and delivering professional customer service to achieve profitable premium growth.
  • Strong people skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues, business partners, and customers are essential.
